lupines on shells

I love to walk the beach and treasure hunt. I love sea glass and shells. Some of the shells I've been collecting have a little holes worn away by the sea, just where I can put a jump ring to make a necklace. Lupines are one of my favorite flowers to paint. These are just a few that I painted and sold last year at craft shows.

I painted these back when I was twenty years old. It's the first pieces of art work that I created that gave me hope that I could become an artist. And I have and I love sharing my art with the world.

For me, March is a very challenging month to stay positive and upbeat. It's been a particularly trying winter here in Maine, so I'm going to work extra hard at keeping my spirits up and hopefully help those around me to do the same. I have a lot to be thankful for.
